Adding Windows explorer tabbed feature to Windows

If you area heavy PC application user then things are likely to get cluttered as you will be opening lots of windows,folders and other application to complete your task.You can use Taskbar Shuffle to shuffle various windows explorers from one end to other. Here is another smart freeware utility called as QTTabBar.

Tabs is a concept that has became the most adorable part in modern web browsers and explorer, which will let you open more than one window in the same explorer, without opening multiple windows.These are very helpful but the option to open new tabs are not featured in windows.

QTTabbar is a small utility for Windows user which organize your desktop by providing tab bar in your windows explorer. You can work with multiple windows or folders easily with this windows utility.QTTabBar also has useful features which includes Folder grouping, histories, tooltip preview drop down preview function.

You need to restart Windows for this tabbed browsing feature,if you are using Windows XP then click on toolbar of explorer,Check the “QTTabBar” and “QT Standard buttons“. If you are using windows vista then pressing Alt in Explorer or native app will lets you select QTTabBar from the menu bar.

QTTabBar is only compatible with Windows XP and Vista.So if you are one of them,then download this 500kb window compatible utility.

i tried it and it rocks, firefox gave me bad habbits now i am good with tabbing :D

I preferred to dump Windows Explorer altogether and use xPlorer2 Lite, but I did use QTTabbar on a Windows machine long time back.
