Google Chrome Fix Adobe Flash and Adobe PDF File Viewing issues

The Chromium blog has announced a useful Google chrome update which has fixed lot of issues including the plugin compatibility solution. If you would like to update your Google chrome browser then open your Chrome browser –> Settings –> About Google chrome and you will find a update that can be done in a couple of seconds. The changes will be reflected once you retstart the browser.

The latest Google chrome Updates fixes the following issues :

  • Can’t watch Youtube videos
  • Adobe Flash Player doesn’t work
  • Chrome high CPU usage when plugins are used
  • Chrome crashed on Viewing large Adobe PDF file

The chrome team did a good job by solving the unresponsive PDF file viewing issue and finding a solution for adobe flash player plugin which helps user to stay on chrome and browse flash content or any youtube videos. The update is a must to avoid the manual work around for watching Youtube videos on Chrome and to install adobe flash player for chrome which was one of the major problem for video hoppers.Ever after the update,I can find a problem when watching Youtube videos in full screen, chrome becomes unresponsive and the youtube video stops buffering.Hopefully the fix for this will be available in the next update as Chrome Values the user feedback :P You can also download and set up chrome for having the latest update!

  1. I have the latest version of Chrome (just installed this morning) but I can’t do ANYTHING requiring Adobe Flash Player. I know that this is a Chrome-only issue because I also have Internet Explorer (that one’s the latest version as well) and I have absolutely no problems whatsoever. I also have friends who use Mozilla Firefox and they aren’t having any trouble with this either. This really is unfortunate, since I prefer Chrome’s speed to that of IE but if I can’t view flash then it’s not worth much, seeing as about 70-80% of what I do online requires Flash Player.

  2. opening .pdf files in a new tab kills Chrome. Any answers? It appears I’m up to date. As a research scientist, this is a severe disruption.

  3. @Mike5100@Josh – But it works here quite well..

Maybe update your Google chrome or install flash player using this method

  4. @Mike5100 – exactly the same for me >:(

  5. Didn’t work for me – installed the update but when flash tries to install it says that Chrome must be closed. If you close Chrome it doesn’t install

  6. I hesitate to use even upgraded versions of Chrome, since my last experience using it (first version) left my computer compromised; have they fixed the security issues beyond all doubt?
