Following the post on installing greasemonkey script on Chrome here is another way to use greasemonkey addon scripts on Google’s chrome browser which is written by read write web. The plugin/addon is called as Greasemetal which is specifically built for chrome!
The script being developed by public software company in Japan. Though there is no UI for userscript management for Greasemetal but still the addon works perfectly on Chrome browser for installation of greasemonkey user scripts.
How does Greasemetal addon work ?
First you need to download Greasemetal and then execute the installer, this will change the behavior of Google Chrome by using automation proxy which is a inter-process communication channel.
After installation you will have the option to insert userscripts,now download any userscripts which are compatible with opera or safari browser and add those userscripts to the userjs directory which is in your My Documents folder. Done! You can now have enhance browsing experience with those scripts on your chrome browser.

Hey!
It seems like I can't get this to work properly. I'm using Google Chrome 4.0.221.6 and that is, what I presume, the Dev build.
When I open Greasemetal Chrome opens for like a second and then is closed immediately. This seems like a great program and I would really like this to work, any help is very appreciated.

Just one detail : the directory where to download js scripts is : \program files\greasemetal\userjs and not …/my documents.
