  1. I would also recommend to use this online free tool – http://Site-Perf.com
It’s very detailed and accurate, supports a lot of features like Keep-Alive and HTTP-compression, and shows nice loading chart so you can easily spot bottlenecks.

Also useful feature is that this tool can measure quality of internet link of your server.

  2. I knew it… This is an example for a .info domain which is moving to the top in web rankings… Hope you remember my top commented post where readers quarreled about rankings of .info domain.

  3. Slashdox.com – 2.2 seconds :)

  4. Apparently the comment submission didn’t like my greater than or less than characters in that last comment.

If it is less than 2.5 seconds Excellent
If it is between 2.5 and 7.5 Fair
If it is greater than 7.5 Poor.

  5. When I do my usability analysis on other sites I use http://tools.pingdom.com/ to test site speed. I rate their site load time using this simple scale.

    Excellent 7.5 seconds

If your site takes longer than 10 seconds using Pindgom, it’s time to look your site over, and look for bandwidth hogs.

  6. very good service my blog took 16secs to load :D it means my blog is also doing good

  7. My blog loads pretty fast compared to other “famous” blogs :)

  8. Thanks for an excellent share. A service called Pingdom ( http://tools.pingdom.com/ ) offers similar services. It provides the in-depth analysis telling you what is slowing down a web-site.

  9. very nice find. load time depends on lots of stuff among them the server load, theme, number of queries to the database etc etc

  10. This load time depends on the theme, basic themes without any images will load much faster that themes with background images.
