Often if you are online to make friends or contact your friends then Instant messaging is the way to go! Though there are several multi protocol client such as “Pidgin” for windows and “Adium” for Mac os but the most preferred way to connect with your Orkut & Google friend’s is Gtalk which is a light chat client!
Blocking contact from a Gtalk contact list will avoid the person to contact you via instant message and he will find you “offline” every time, though you are online! There are some tricks to find out who blocked you on Gtalk but here I will be showing a simple way to unblock the blocked Gtalk contact..
Unknowingly if you have blocked your friend from the Gtalk contact list then visit Gmail.com and on the left sidebar you will see the “Contact” link.Type the contact name or search in the contact box, after you find the email id of the person click on ”Auto” or “Always”.That’s it 
The person is unblocked from your contact list!

What if you accidentally blocked someone and don’t know who it was? How do I search for all the contacts that are currently blocked?
Wish you had written this sometime back, I had to struggle through to unblock a friend!!
