Unable to install themes on your PSP 3004 device? Or the custom theme you just created isn’t working on PSP 3004? Here is how you can install themes on PSP game console.
If you have already tried installing themes on PSP and it isn’t working then the possible outcomes are – You’ve installed the theme in the wrong PSP directory or the theme extension is not supported by the PSP device.
Note that PSP supports few Video formats only. Likewise, theme files with extension CTF or PTF are supported by PSP. So if you are downloading any PSP themes then make sure they are of these above-mentioned extensions only, otherwise they will not work!
Installing theme on PSP 3004
Whether it is PSP 3000, PSP 2000 or PSP 3004 – The procedure to install themes remains the same. Assuming that you have already downloaded PSP theme or you’ve used Sony PSP theme creator to make your themes, connect the PSP to PC using suitable USB cable.
Now open the PSP drive which contain various folders such as VIDEO, MUSIC and PSP..
Navigate to the PSP folder, in this folder make a folder called ‘THEME’ (without quotes) and put all the themes (with extension CTF or PTF) here. Disconnect the PSP from PC and go to the theme settings to activate your theme. Easy eh? Here is the video I made on installing PSP themes on PSP console, hope this helps!

hi…i have some plugins for CTF theme for psp 3004 but i don`t know if they are working…In summer i have test them and they works. in italy … and a few hombrew things…. and plugins…. if ur interested to instal something i`ll show u with pleasure…. just send me an e-mail : darkangel655@yahoo.com …. or if you have some intersting plugins, games, or hombrews!

Hi Ema, I visited the website and I can see some homebrew stuffs in the download section.. though I own PSP 3004 but I am not completely able to understand few of those stuffs..
Things like PSP modding, unbricking PSP 3004 with chicken and other firmware looks quite complicated to me. Thanks for the plugins for PSP though.. yet to figure out how to make them work on my psp
Some more insight of those things would be appreciated.
if u have the psp from yesterday i understand you! if u wan`t t put a CTF theme in psp 3004 go to http://www.psp-fanatik.ro or tipe in google ” psp fanatik forum” romainan version and there shows u evrything u want. and whit CTF u need to have some plugins and the plugins work`s if ur psp is moded with m33-6 hen or the new version 5.03 GEN-B(full) releasd for psp 300/3004. bye all

Oh.. actually even I tried CTF theme but included them along with 5-6 PTF themes.. not sure if that one worked.. even I use 5.03 version but I own PSP 3004..
So, better try to download PTF themes only. I have some nice set of PSP themes @ http://blogote.com/2009/resources/download-free... works perfectly.
i did put all the themes I've got in THEME, but CTF themes just don't appear in the theme settings..
i use PSP 3000 with 5,03 version.. pls help
