It has been a few days of inactivity on blogote.com and blaming the hosting process is the last thing we were looking for. If you are a regular visitor here then you must have noticed the blog was very slow with internal server error for couple of hours. Surprisingly without a second thought we purchased the hosting and decided to move on the brand new server of Media Temple!
I wasn’t able to login to admin panel and the site was very slow, sometimes inaccessible too and maybe this was because of apache that needed to be restarted! Been on shared server I wanted to go with VPS as that would benefit a lot but thanks to Amit bhawani for recommending Media temple service which looks quite promising and strong enough to handle any random traffic spikes!
It would have been tough to move to a different environment without the help of online bloggers such as Amit and Keith. Keith Dsouza who hosted this blog for 6 months on dreamhost fixed the Internal server error and Amit bhawani did the complete blog migration . Let me ping them 
By the way I committed a blunder by deleting misplacing the February month images somewhere and cannot find them in the FTP, so all the images in the feb posts will not be visible. I am still trying to find it as soon as possible! And if you are feeling the change or want to leave your opinion/suggestions on anything then do leave your comments!

Nice to hear your blog is back. what is your previous host anyway?
@Melvin – From past 7-8 months the blog was moved to three different hosting company, previous host was Dreamhost which was quite good!

@Raju – Thanks Raju, actually this is a Grid service and I am sure it is quite different from the VPS.
The features and the interface are pretty good , there are various options included in the panel but I don’t think I need to learn them all. So far things are going fine..

I have been reading your blog via feeds so didn’t know about slow loading issue. Anyways now you are on better servers which can handle even bigger traffic.

@Blogsdna – Yes, I moved to Media Temple as they have hosted some of the big blogs around. Though I have the starter plan I believe it will be strong enough to handle the traffic with no downtime! Only time will tell though..

well, when i checked out blogote yesterday it was opening too slow for me…
I read blogote almost everyday and it seemed almost different to me as there were no posts…
But good job moving it to a new server quickly and i never like to see blogote in the way it was yesterday…
