Winamp Windows 7 Mp3 player

As you know Windows 7 beta was released couple of weeks ago and the beta tag explains the application support i.e, you can find bugs and some of the software may not run on windows 7 beta. One such application is Winamp mp3 player which doesn’t work on windows 7 after quick installation.

If you have winamp installed in windows 7 then chances are you can run winamp but it crashes after few seconds. For this reason you have to replace the old configuration file from winamp to listen to audio songs.winamp_windows_7

Navigate to the Winamp configuration setting file by opening your default OS installed drive (Ex: C drive)

C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\Winamp

Make sure you replace the username with your system user name where you will find this config file.See to it that you are allowed to view all the hidden files in the folder and take a backup if required. Now delete your old configuration file, restart Winamp media player and enjoy using winamp on windows 7! Also make sure you do not have any third party plugin installed which are also a reason for effecting the use of winamp player..
