Motorola Droid 2 Running Android 2.2 Froyo
It didn’t take long for the oft-rumored leaked droid 2 images to spread on the web. And now from a trusted source the Motorola Droid 2 Smartphone will be launching straight with Android 2.2 Froyo, very soon.

From the reports of Droid-life, a reader tested the Droid 2 and claims it to be noticeably more responsive. Droid 2 shares similar hardware as that of the first Droid but the reworked keyboard is said to be phenomenal and much better than the older model.
With Android 2.2, Droid 2 is definitely a powerful android smart phone as Android 2.2 is much faster (2 to 5 times faster than Android 2.1v), comes with flash 10.1, application manager etc.
Although the launch is uncertain, but Droid 2 is likely to come out by the end of August.
