Latest iOS 4.2.1 For iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Available!

Look who’s here… the iOS 4.2.1. And yes, Apple seemed to have packed this latest iOS release with bevy of new features. Thousands of folks are already swarming through the Apple website to upgrade their device. All the iPhone, iPad and iPod touch users can now download the latest Apple iOS 4.2 firmware from the official Apple website.

With hundred plus fresh addition to the iOS 4.2.1, the new firmware release is a solid reason to rejoice, especially for the Apple iPad owners. Because iPad users can finally do multi-tasking with the new iOS and also get to be familiar with AirPrint, AirPlay, Game Center, etc.


Download iOS 4.2.1

You can download the iOS4 firmware from the Apple website (download link should be available shortly), or you can plug in your device via USB cable, fire up your iTunes and then Check for updates. Make sure that you are using the latest iTunes software.

Jailbreaking iOS 4.2.1

It seems like the partial jailbreak has been out for the iOS 4.2.1, but Cydia is not yet ready for public release. Although there have been tutorials on jailbreaking iOS 4.2, but they are not meant for the casual users and involves nerdy skills. I’ll keep you guys posted on this one.

Whether or not you enjoy jailbreaking, but it is always better to wait.
