Thumbs down for Gmail Notes!

Whenever we get announcements of enhancements and additional features on anything, we take it as a good news. But that is, sadly not the case when Google came up with Gmail Notes. It’s a hopeless, much-hyped but unsubstantiated feature.

Like most people, I was one of the initially ecstatic one with the Gmail Notes news. There’s just too much mix of stuff I need to attend to in my email account. There are online orders and their confirmation codes, password resets and notices, subscribers’ queries and more from the affiliates. Not to mention the personal emails I get from people I know – or who I must work on remembering where I know them from. Really, there’s so much to do. Continue reading…

On a regular basis, Google’s YouTube comes up with many nifty features that keeps it much more interesting and entertaining for the web users. And now, another recently added feature is the ‘Youtube leanback’ that plays videos automatically while you lean on your couch.

This latest addition lets user to watch videos automatically without having to use the mouse, i.e., with YouTube Leanback, you can look into your personalized feeds videos, one video after the other. All the videos are in full screen, HD quality mode that plays automatically. Continue reading…

ComScore reports that YouTube has come a long way from when it started. The average visitor to Google videos will watch around 100 clips a month and these videos will mainly feature YouTube videos. Adding Images To Gmail Messages Gets Easier With Drag and Drop Feature

While I do use Gmail as my primary email address, I’ve to admit that I haven’t thought of embedding images into the body while composing messages on Gmail.
