Firefox 4 Beta 4 is here and surely you can expect a lot of new features too. While you can explore the browser yourself to make many interesting discoveries, here are two features that deserves the spotlight: Panorama and Sync.

Panorama was previously called ‘Tab Candy’ is basically a visual tool meant to improve user experience with the Firefox. New Internet Explorer 9 Leaked Interface and Features

So far only developers have been fortunate enough to preview the latest and yet to be released Internet Explorer browser. You can take a look at the interface of this browser on September 15, at the beta launch event hosted by Microsoft in San Francisco. Well, maybe not!

Latest Web Browser Stats 2010: Who’s Leading and Who’s Lagging?

The latest statistics about web browsers are out now. And the big news is that despite all the ‘doomsday is nigh’ predictions about the Microsoft Internet Explorer, it has actually grown in terms of market share, and that too for three months in a row now. On the other hand Mozilla Firefox has lost ground to the Explorer.

As per these stats (provided by Net Applications) the market share of Internet Explorer grew by 0.42% in July 2010, and it now commands a whopping 60.74% of the entire browser pie. Continue reading…

User Data in Danger with Safari Autofill Option

While it may be nothing new, the exploits of the Safari browser does put user data in open fire for malicious websites to attack. In 2009, Swiss security researcher Patrice Neff reported her findings after witnessing that Safari browser submits personal information without consent of the user.

Such exploit is closely similar to the new reports that dangerous websites are enabled by Safari to access the autofill information. Even more menacing is that even if the user has never visited the websites, autofill would blatantly enter the user’s data. Continue reading…

Looks like this season you can expect a lot more from the web browser Firefox, with the version 4.2 released days after the Firefox 4 beta 1 was made available. You get support for 23 new languages and a lot more app tabs than the earlier version.

I convinced myself to try out the latest Firefox 4 browser, although in beta phase, the browser comes with modest features and an intuitive interface that looks good so far.
