Twitter, the 140 character microblogging site has released the twitter blackberry client for download. This is the first official twitter client for blackberry phones bought out by Twitter with Research In Motion.

The official tag to the client has its own set of advantages, although, many would still prefer ubertwitter client over this official twitter client on the blackberry. The reason – this official client doesn’t highlight replies, and you’re unable to edit tweets before RTing it.

On the other hand, the official client comes with an simple interface and doesn’t drain your battery (unlike other tweeting clients), it’s clean and user-friendly. The client carries enough requirements to meet your tweeting habits.
