Touch Screen PSP2 From Sony Launching Soon?
Couple of months ago, I covered the story on the launch of Sony PSP2 which actually never took place. Well, the rumors are back as PSP2 is all set to launch by the end of 2011!
Rumors making the rounds is the connection of PSP2 and Android 3.0 with the device size roughly as same as the PSP 3004. And to top it off, PSP2 will also have a touch screen – a feature that all of us were expecting during the announcement of PSP GO.
While no official statement has been released on the PSP2 specification, but it is interesting to see Android and Sony playstation collaborating on the project (yet another rumor!?). Honestly, although both Android and Sony share one common rival: Apple, the news is too good to be true, but if it is, then exciting days ahead for the PSP owners.
The above pic is the mockup of the Sony’s gaming smartphone that will be launching with pre-installed Android 3.0. Can this be the next gen of Playstation Portable device? It can definitely bring the life back onto the PSP device. Let’s hope so!
