Internet and advertisement band together. The advertisers are partly responsible for the growth of the web and its an undeniable fact that this internet has contributed in enriching our knowledge.
That being said, there are a great deal of advertisement flashing on the web and some of you might want to avoid them. Blocking these ads can be achieved by using free add-ons such as Adblock Plus, however, such addons cannot block ads that are in the video.
For example, Youtube has video ads on selected videos. These are similar to our TV ads that run for a couple of seconds.
So how do you block these video ads from Youtube?
While you can’t permanently block them, but you can surely skip these ads by using the F5 (refresh) button. Yes, you are reloading the webpage by using the F5 button and this does work. So next time if you come across a video with ads on them, you know what to do. Pretty simple.
Another way to skip the advertisement video is to append the time string (t=1m05s) at the end of the YouTube URL as this will automatically play the video depending on the minutes and seconds specified.
