How to view hidden feed count of any website

Feed count  is a small feedburner widget which shows the number of subscriptions done by your readers. Their are lots of bloggers who hide their feedburner subscriber count widget (Feedcount) due to their own unknown reasons. But if you are interested in knowing how many subscriber count those blogs have then this is a simple short trick which will help you.

Here is how to find out the number of subscriber’s of any site.

Basically the website feed is

http://feeds.feedburner.com/SITENAME

For example – http://feeds.feedburner.com/blogote

After you find out the feed of that website, you have to use “~fc” before the SITENAME.

http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/SITENAME

For example – http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/blogote

Just copy the link and paste in the address bar.Hit enter and Viola! you can see the number of subscriber’s who subscribed using feed burner..

If the feedcount’s are completely deactivated from the feedburner site then this trick won’t work (This is a rare case)…!

I’m in the opinion that it’s fine to hide the data but it’s just so unethical to hack it with the intention to cheat. But hey, some are still doing it.

      • This is something I really wanted to know. I see some blogs hide this data and show as if they have good subscribers base.

Wonderful tips indeed. This is what I have been looking for.. I for one however do not place too much emphasis on the no. of subscribers when subscribing to a blog.

Did I say I like your theme?

                • I don’t think I need to deactivate it just because somebody will come to know that it is less than 100.
If your content is good, the visitors will subscribe to it. I don’t think somebody will use this trick to check the count before subscribing. If it is visible on the website, then people may get affected before subscribing.
