Listen to Free Online Radio Stations on GTalk, MSN or Yahoo Messenger

People still love to listen Radio.Radio brings in refreshing random music which latest news music industry news updates.For this reason they are popular both in the offline and online world.You can listen to radio while at home or in office using the Radio box but if you are using Instant messenger clients like Gtalk,MSN and yahoo then here is way for those music-soul people to get all the best standard radio stations live online.

You have seen how to get news alert on gtalk,this is also similar way of listening to online Internet radio in which we will use a service called GTalk2VoIP.Basically GTalk2VoIP offers SMS,VOIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) paid services via Gtalk ,but there Radio service is free and you don’t need to pay anything to listen them.Just follow these methods to set up and listen to the free radio station by using your IM clients -

1. Open your instant messenger (Gtalk,Yahoo,MSN) and add service@gtalk2voip.com to your buddy/contact list.After adding you can see service@gtalk2voip.com appears to be online.
2. Now IM HELP and you will get a list of available commands.if you are lazy then directly IM RADIO command to service@gtalk2voip.com and you will get the list of free radio stations.
3. As you get the list of available radio station,just IM RADIO NUMBER (Ex – RADIO 202)
4. A automatically generated IM appears on the screen – Please, accept call from gtalk2voip.Just accept the call and you can listen to radio for free.

When I used this service,I got the following available Radio stations.The Radio numbers are given on the left hand side.

If you like any one of the free online radio stations then add this to your contact list NUMBER@radio.gtalk2voip.com (works with Google Talk).Make sure you replace the number with the RADIO NUMBER (Ex : adding 111@radio.gtalk2voip.com will enable you to listen  Radio Helsinki station only). Just press Call button to connect to the radio station and you will get live online Internet radio.
