Meet the Crazy Robot Dancing on Gangnam Style Song

By Sidharth | Gadgets

This delicate robot is trying to pull off all the dance moves of Psy’s Gangnam Style, and it certainly manages to entertain us. Watch the video below and let me know what do you think.

This five-foot tall humanoid robot is called CHARLI-2, and from its ultra-slim body one could make out that it weighs less than 15KGs.

There are a series of robots like this, and they have been winning all sorts of awards. The Time magazine called CHARLI-2 as the “2011’s Best Invention of the Year.” The robot also won the Louis Vuitton Best Humanoid Award at RoboCup 2011, and won First Place in AdultSize league for autonomous soccer at both RoboCup 2011 and RoboCup 2012 among many awards. Clearly, do anything you want but don’t mess with this robot.

We have also seen robots playing rock-papers-scissors and slicing noodles at restaurant.

As of today, the original Gangnam Style video has been viewed more than 500 million times on YouTube, and the numbers seem to grow as we speak. If you haven’t watched the video yet, or if you want to listen to this wacky tune again, check out the video below:
