PayPal Resumes Electronic Fund Transfer For Indians

By Sidharth | Ideas

Alright. If you’ve followed the ongoing PayPal issue, you might find this comical to some extent. The same ole PayPal that stopped electronic fund transfer for Indians are now continuing the service once again.

Just a couple of hours ago, Dickson Seow from the PayPal blog updates in his entry that Indian users can now perform electronic fund withdrawals as they did before.

Here’s an snippet from the PayPal blog regarding this update:

We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you over the past few days. While we have received your appreciation for the advance notice and the refund of the cheque processing fee, we have also heard loud and clear that you highly value the ease-of-use of our electronic withdrawal service. We want you to know that our customers are our #1 priority and we are working non-stop to improve our service to you.

Publicity stunt from PayPal? Nah.

This is a good news for Indians as encashing a cheque is a really slow process our here. And I hope PayPal can also take care of the mass payment issue that’s been around for some time now.

So, that’s about it. Time for all the freelancers, webmasters and regular PayPal users to quickly recover from the shock and get back to work 😉
