Though I am not a huge fan of Rapidshare but I love exploring tricks and tools for Rapidshare. Already there are tons of search engine and various tools created to bypass download limit and so here is a short compilation of some of the top Rapidshare download manager for effective file download from Rapidshare.com with or without a premium account!
Also note that these Rapidshare downloader are free to download and works quite well. I am sure you must have come across other programs that says to provide simultaneous downloads from Rapidshare and out of which some of them are JUST spyware! Seems like Rapidshare is playing tricks. If I try to download directly, many downloads are incomplete or halt mid-way. But if I use the Rapidshare manager, they get completed. Is this a way to force rapidshare paid users like me to use their download manager ? Perhaps I should cancel my membership.
My vote goes for Mipony
It is an excellent download manager
It’s too bad that Getright or Getright Pro doesn’t work with rapidshare. I use it even with sites that cannot resume since connections rarely “break” with it. If I use the “save file as” option from the IE browser, there is a chance that the connection gets some sort of problem and I end up with a partial download.
I’m still hoping that a future version of getright can compete with the other downloaders such as jdownloader and cryptload.

I used to use USDownloader from a Russian website successfully for most of 2009. However, it seems to have fallen behind and stopped working….. The program still runs and does updates but many downloads gets trapped in infinite loops. Before this, it was quite effective!
Guess I will have to look for another! Is your list organized in order of recommendation?
I see.. Well, I would prefer jdownloader as I’ve momentarily used it for downloading files off rapidshare and other hosting.
You can also use rdesc downloader (not mentioned in this list, just make a search to see the review), although none of this softwares offer simultaneous downloads.. but they do queue files and automatically download them.. It’s free, so, you well might just give it a shot

Hi, I have testing out j downloader on rapidshare and megaupload and so far, have found it excellent.
Thanks for the list. =) I tried G-RAP-IT first, set it to download overnight, but for some reason it froze when my screensaver came on! Frustrating, but I’ll give the others a shot. Thanks again.
