Cydia Theme Center For iPhone Jailbroken Phones

Yet another update in the Cydia universe is the addition of the new “Cydia Theme Center.” Probably named after the popular iOS Game Center, the Cydia Theme Center is a richly packed collection of optimized themes available for your Jailbroken iPhone.

The Theme Center is the second feature of the Saurik’s Whole Package Index that includes both the popular and free Cydia themes handpicked by the staffs/members who were involved into its development.

Using Cydia Theme Center

Fire up your Cydia and you will be greeted with the “New” bubble, from where you will be able to easily search themes for Retina (iPhone 4) and non-Retina (iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS) display screens. Also, Winterboard themes featuring various artists are lined up and are in the works as we speak.

There is an additional step involved in installing the theme from the Theme Center, which I believe shouldn’t cause a hiccup as it is fairly easy to follow.

While the Cydia base is already getting better over time, the addition of elements like this is undoubtedly exceptional App store for our jailbroken phones. Here are a few screenshots of the new Cydia’s Theme Center:
