From LCD to LED to 3D plasma TVs, smartphones to big tablets like iPad, we are admittedly the lost generation embracing the quickly evolving technological advances.
Touchscreen seems to be the prime ingredient of successful electronic gadgets these days, and it’s already and will further mature as a part of our everyday life. To get the drift of how touchscreen devices can change our lives, here we have ExoPC showing off Exodesk, which is a huge desk-monitor going to be available to the consumers starting 2012.
This 40-inch HD touchscreen desk is the future for two reasons. One, it’s affordable. Secondly, you can do a lot of things like catching up with RSS, read and send emails, browse through Twitter and flawlessly play piano.
Demo Video of ExoDesk Touchscreen Monitor:
Exodesk is like one big tablet that cannot be carried in your back pocket wherever you go, and the only difference between this and the other tablet is that it is transparent, which surely adds futuristic flavor to the device.
Still, there’s an unsettling thought of whether such devices will be embraced by the consumer for everyday use. If yes, then how? Playing games or working on a 40-inch device is simply too much to ask for. In anyway, at first glance, I’d say Exodesk can be really addictive.
