Features of HTC 8X

HTC 8X is one of the best phones in recent times. The phone comes with 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Scorpion processor. It is, as accustomed, dual cored like all other high-end phones we see today. There’s a 1 GB RAM. Screen is 4.3-inch S-LCD 2 with resolutions being 1280 x 720 pixels.

HTC 8X has Gorilla Glass 2, which is a scratch-resistant display. There is 8 MP camera along with 2.1 mp secondary camera with LED flash. You can also record HD videos on phone with 30 FPS rate. Plus point of the phone is, it offers memory card slot along with 16 GB internal memory.

Other notable features of HTC 8x include GPS, 3G, WiFi and NFC support. So, all in all, 8X is well featured device with so many awesome specifications packed in.

As we all know, Apple iPhone 5 is already sold out in India and Galaxy SIII too crossed 30 million mark last week, and it would be really interesting to see how HTC 8X fares in the market.

HTC is always known for quality and finesse in their products, but you could see less customers are relying on the Taiwanese company in recent times. Still, in my opinion, 8X has the potential to blow iPhone 5 and SIII out of the water primarily because of the Windows 8 OS it locks under its hood.

Windows Phone 8 is gaining traction due to lack of novelty in Androids and iOS. Another plus point that favors HTC is the disappointment caused by Nokia Lumia. The expectations of Windows Phone were severely put off by Lumia. Thus, HTC already has things in their favor and it won’t be surprising to see 8X doing decent business in the months ahead.

We had the opportunity to witness the HTC 8X last week, and the device looks solid. The screen, of course, is gorgeous! Hardware? Impressive to say the least.

So, what is your call? Are you going to buy HTC 8X or do you prefer waiting for Nokia Lumia? Do let us know, your opinion counts.
