Buying any Apple device this holiday season is probably the best tech gift you can give yourself or your family, but the deal is further sweetened when the apps you are planning to buy for your Apple devices goes free. As part of the festive season sale, and probably to become a household name, Halfbrick Studio is offering all of its paid iOS apps for free.

Halfbrick Studio is the maker of the hugely popular Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride game, which is available for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. Previously priced at a dollar or two, these games are currently freely available in the iTunes App Store.

All of the Halfbrick Studio’s games have gone free — this also includes Age of Zombies, Blast Off, Monster Dash, and Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots. There’s no reason why you shouldn’t download these apps, as you will get quality paid games with lifetime updates at no additional cost.

You can unlock the full version by launching iTunes and searching for “Fruit Ninja” in the App Store. The only catch is that you should download the app within the next 24-hours. After today, all of them will be back to their original price.

Halfbrick Studio has been releasing quality iOS apps for almost three years now, and if you haven’t played any of their games before, this is the right time to do so. As you probably know, Fruit Ninja is all about slicing colorful fruits while the action-packed Jetpack Joyride is a coin-collecting game where we have to consciously jump off the ground to avoid obstacles.
