Huawei prepares a 135W fast charging system

Until recently, charging a mobile battery could take several hours. During 2020, these times were considerably reduced, even falling below half an hour in some of the new terminals that we saw last year. From what it seems, 2021 will continue to be a year where charging technology will continue to evolve and proof of this is that Huawei has just certified a new charger in China that would reach 135W.

Until now, the Chinese company offered a maximum of 65W in its chargers, something that seems to be doubled shortly. Xiaomi and Vivo are currently the companies that offer the highest charging speed, with 120W in some of their most cutting-edge terminals.

For now we do not know which will be the first Huawei phones to incorporate the 135W, although it would not be unreasonable to think that the new P50 would be the chosen one.

We can only wait and see what Huawei intends to do with its new 135W fast-charging system. We can also not lose sight of its direct rivals who will be forced to improve their loading times. 2021 seems to be a year where batteries will continue to evolve and reduce the waiting time for charging.
