The number of WhatsApp users continues to break records

WhatsApp users break records

Today WhatsApp can boost of having reached the figure of 2,000 million users, four times more than when Facebook acquired it back in 2014.

A total of 21.8 million dollars was paid by Facebook in an operation that in view of the current numbers, has been more than advantageous for the social network. Subscriber data keeps growing every year.

Among the reasons given by those responsible for the company are, in their opinion, the security and privacy that are guaranteed with their service. For this, they remember that it is an application that uses end-to-end encryption and that it is the device itself that stores the conversations. At no time are the messages stored in the cloud.

It is clear that if one day the 21.8 million dollars paid for the application could seem crazy, today with these figures, they are more than amortized.
