Depending on the magnitude of inflow of water, let your iPhone stay in the bag for at least 24 hours to 72 hours. This is one of the easiest way to fix your damaged iPhone and bring it back to life.

Before trying to dry out the internal components of your Apple device, use hairdryer. “Dry your iPhone out with a hairdryer for a while, and then spray compressed air into the earphone hole at the top, and the dock-adapter hole at the bottom,” which should fix your wet iPhone instantly, says Elliot.
You can take out the removable parts and pat everything dry, although you’ve to pay meticulous attention while removing the parts of your iPhone. Be very careful — you don’t want to end up damaging your iPhone entirely.
