The PlayStation 5 controller is now compatible with Apple devices

PlayStation, Sony’s unit specialized in video games, has announced that the PlayStation 5 Dual Sense controller can now be used with the Remote Play app to play on Apple devices via Bluetooth, although some functions, such as haptic feedback or the built-in microphone are not available.

In that sense, the company explained that the devices compatible with the new functionality are those that work with the macOS Big Sur 11.3, iPadOS 14.5, iOS 14.5 and tvOS 14.5 systems, or their later versions.

With the new compatibility, a PS5 Dual Sense controller can be used to control games and applications on Apple devices via Bluetooth connection. Additionally, the PS Remote Play application allows you to stream console games to iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Apple TV devices, and play remotely.
