Recently I saw a video on the future image processing application on a video sharing site called Metacafe.The video blew me out,but hey we got something like that, which is launched under beta.This is called Tineye - Smart Image Search Engine

Why is Tineye different from other image search engine ?
Unlike other online image search engine Tineye doesn’t need you to use keywords/tags to find images.TinEye search index has 500,000,000 images.
Then how does it finds relevant images ?
If you have a image then upload it on tineye or provide the link to the image,the tineye online image search engine will search all over the Internet in seconds and provides massive relevant images by using image identification technology (Matches your image to all the images in the internet,if their is a match then the image will be displayed,Tineye looks at the pixels of the images to do this)
Does Tineye has any addon/extension for a browser ?
Tineye have an firefox addon which is really awesome! Just see the video and you will come to know the potential in Tineye engine.
Does it cost anything / How do I sign up ?
Tineye is free and is the future technology built by Idée.Currently you must be invited to use tineye engine.I have requested an invite and received a mail that they will be sending out invites as they become available.Go now and request your invitation.
