Want to update everyone about Demonoid and why demonoid is down, at least in India. From a past couple of days (in-fact it’s been nearly 2 weeks of downtime) Demonoid is not accessible to most of the users (including me) and this effect has been caused due to the conflicts of ISP.
Reason for Demonoid Blank Page
If you’re trying to login to demonoid or if you’ve visited Demonoid.com and if it is opening at your end then Demonoid is perfectly working fine. But Demonoid.com in India (and I assume other countries as well) displays blank white page while trying to login. Randomly it also displays messages such as
Maintenance
We will be back as soon as possible, but this will probably be a prolonged downtime.

Making a search on the web I found out that Demonoid is blocking Indian IP’s as well as IP of several countries that has created this problem of inaccessibility, I assume this is due to the high member of user capacity which demonoid is unable to hold and therefore they have banned access to their torrent trackers. And the only available solutions are the public torrents which are unmatchable to Demonoid 
Even the demonoid forum has been blocked and I am sure Demonoid is working but it’s down for users of several countries, I am still wondering when will demonoid get back up, hopefully quite soon. aXXo Movies left us and now it’s the turn of Demonoid!

This is what they are saying in USA, server went down, data loss, there is a certain person they need to help them??? read below.

It has been down for a couple of months now, really disappointing, the torrent sites and getting fewer and fewer. I only have about three now that I can use, and they are not getting as much supply as they used to.

I believe it will be back again after a week or two.. the server update is still on the process.
Demonoid I misses you /cry
Anyone got any idea on when it will be back up??? I am going through demonoid withdrawls and it is not a pretty site…and I will admit I have checked a few other torrent sites and been very very disappointed in them
I am being patient, but I’m not gonna lie, I check demonoid everyday. I then tie my shoes and head out the door, in which the frame needs to be repaired, so I go to the hardware store and ask people about demonoid.. Buy door frame supplies.
I miss demonoid…… every other site cant compare to it. hopefully your guy can recover that data soon.
dmonoid will be back in a week or two the have to repair some servers and reload all the back up disc otherwise all the torrents from the past year will be lost along with all new users. hopefully this help you people with what is going on send it around..
It’s not the first time demonoid has gone down, and it won’t be the last. They’ll be back as soon as they can be, as always. It’s the most resilient torrent site I have found online yet, and I’ve been a member for quite awhile.
Keep the faith, they’ll be back.

Demonoid is down around the world, its not just India, they are not blocking anyone’s IP, they have been having problems with the electricity supply.

You are not seeding from Demonoid as the tracker is refusing you access (along with everyone else). You are connected to peers via DHT and peer exchange!
I can n still seed from Demonoid, Plus peoples there r other ways to get things other than Demonoid, not all kreators only submit work to this site, there are plenty other reliable 1’s as well if u don’t feel like waiting! the reals always have back ups!

You really should stop by the irc channel and ask whats going on. One of the guys or girls there will help you out, and Demonoid.com doesn’t block ip’s (maybe 1 or 2), thou isp’s and some governments are the main offenders there, and the offline reason is simple, updating ‘hardware’ is more difficult then updating software, especially if you have to travel to get to the thing, yep get on an aeroplane, trek through great mountains, battle the god of hades (twice, he comes back to life) then save the fair maiden all in time for the latest episode of whale wars….
Considering that 99.9% of Demonoid.com users are volunteers, and all files hosted are free, what does 2 weeks down time mean? nothing. what about 3 months? still nothing. The tracker is also offline until this is sorted, therefore if you want to seed / leech demonoid torrents enable DHT and wait, yes thats right be patient, as for all the haters, keep hating.

Actually it’s only been down for a couple of days but most folks knew it was coming. It’s been reported elsewhere that they were having electrical server problems that would need to be resolved.
But there are much more torrents sites
No “random” messages just the one saying they’re down for maintenance, which is most likely what it is, ie replacing damaged hardware - Tweetmeme
