The only way to remember foreign words and phrases is to practice regularly and exhaustively. If you are not serious about it, learning new words in foreign language is going to take a lot of your time.

So how can you effectively learn newer words on your phone?

Microsoft has come up with an interesting app called Translator for Windows Phone 7. This app will show you new foreign words every day to widen your vocabulary.

How to Remember Foreign Words?

The Translator app will display a different foreign word every day and there’s no way you will ever forget that particular word. Why? This is because the word will be displayed every time your phone is unlocked.

Note: You should pin the app on your home-screen.

As the name suggests, Translator app is mainly used for translating purposes. You can use your phone’s camera to capture text and request this free app to translate that particular word or phrase.

Another noteworthy feature is the speech recognition and translation — speak the text you want to be translated, and the app interprets the word using the Internet connection.
