Here’s an unconventional yet creative way to use Google Docs to play Chess game. You and one of your friend can enjoy playing this classic board game online without having to download anything.

Note that we are using a Google Docs template, which I first found on Reddit. You have to make a copy of this chess template (given below), create a link and then share the link with your friend. This is a perfect way to pass your time if you are sitting idle in your office, school or college.

How to Play Chess Through Google Documents

Step 1: Go to this Google Docs page.

Step 2: Click File > Make a Copy… This should create a copy of the template into your Google Docs account. If a Copy Document window pops up, click OK.

Step 3: Click File > Share. A link appears, which you can send it to your friend.

You can create any number of copies of the above template. Even editing the template is possible, only after you have copied the template to your Google Docs account.

You are also free to invite any number of people, but as you probably know that chess is a game played by two players, you’d be better off playing with only one friend at a time.

For those who have missed watching Satyamev Jayate on Star Plus this Sunday, you can now watch the whole episode online.

Aamir Khan’s new show needs no introduction. A one of its kind show broadcasting every Sunday on Star Plus, Satyamev Jayate brings emotional problems and challenges to light. The show has already been a huge success not because this is Aamir’s first television outing but for the subject it has touched in its first episode, which is on female foeticide.

After the end of the first episode, more than 100,000 people dialled in to speak to the superstar to initiate a serious discussion on social issues, although Aamir could attend only to a few.

Watch Satyamev Jayate on YouTube

Did you miss the first episode of Aamir Khan’s Satyameva Jayate on Sunday? Thanks to Star Plus and YouTube for posting the full-length episode.

Aamir Khan has to be applauded for picking a serious issue that has shamed India for a long time. What are your thoughts about the show? Do you think it was perfectly executed in raising awareness and touching delicate matters that we tend to ignore?

One of my favorite game on my Apple iPhone is Temple Run. Also available on Android phones, Temple Run is an addictive game that is free to download but works only on mobile phones.

Now for those who want to play Temple Run online, I have a good and bad news. The bad news is that Imangi Studios, the guys behind the Temple Run game, haven’t come up with the desktop version of Temple Run.

And the good news is that we have several other games, similar to Temple Run, available on the Internet. If you have an urge to play Temple Run like addictive games on your Windows or Mac computer, then we have two of them listed below.

Game 1: Run

Although you can try iPhone emulators and Android emulators to play Temple Run on your computer, it is not going to be easy I assume. For now, for those who want to play the exact version of iOS Temple Run on your laptop or desktop, just hang in there as the desktop version is likely in the works.

There are movies, favorites ones, that we recommend to our friends and families. From action to adventure and comedy films, we believe we have seen them all. But there are movies that we may have missed and, given a chance, we would love to watch them at home or in theaters.

Did you know – on an average over 600 movies are produced in the US while over 900 movies are produced in India? While these staggering numbers are largely impressive, watching every single movie is going to take us forever.

Here is an attempt to list some of the best English movies. These movies are taken from the 4chan archive where a user participated in a thread to share his 5 favorite movies, and then the data of over 3000 users were collected and combined to bring this list of top films.

All-Time Best Movies List

Of course each one of us have our own set of favorite films, so the list below may not have your favorite movies included — don’t get too serious about it! Most of these films are in English language.

Do you feel comfortable sniffing pages of your old, treasured books? Have you ever wondered why old books smell so good? Love it or hate it, there’s a science behind the odor of these older books.

Why Old Books Smells Awesome?

According to this video from AbeBooks, Chemists at University College have investigated the old book odor and concluded that old books release hundreds of volatile organic compounds into the air and reacts with heat, moisture and light, which is why the pages have pungent smell.

Surprisingly, the manuscripts created by the earliest-known printers will survive even longer than the books printed today. This is because there’s not a lot of chemicals involved in the printing process.

Protect Your Old and New Books / Novels

Prolonged contact with newspaper or other books is one of the reason why books acquire smell. You may want to store your older books in a dry, cool place and avoid direct sunlight.

These days most of the books are going digital, so if you don’t like the smell of your old novels, you can always find a digital copy of your favorite book on the Internet. But if you do love the smell, then it is proven that sniffing out an old book regularly can save your older novels from decaying.

Do you love the smell that drifts into your nose when you open your old books and novels?

Wanting to get rid of all the messy internet wires that are making your house resemble a vined jungle and looking to set up a wireless network but don’t know how to go about it? Well look no further, here are tips to help you set up your own Wi-Fi network.

There are a couple of things you will need for this, to start with: either a cable or a DSL modem and an working internet connection is required. The next thing you need is a wireless, broadband router which you can pick up from your nearest computer goods store. Do take care to buy one that has a built in firewall.

The router will have a couple of ports for wired devices and one for internet or WAN. The first thing that you need to do is set up the router.

How to setup WiFi Router?

Run the installation disk and depending on the user friendliness of the router you purchased- the set up client will guide you through the process (look into the manual).

Plug the router to a power supply and switch it on, then look for the router’s name in the wireless connections list. Its default name will either be the manufacturer’s name or the model number. Connect to it by selecting it from the list and there you go, you have connected to your router.

Now to secure it from others who can connect to the Wifi network as easily as you have. Firstly, connect the bundled wire with the computer and with the router on one of the wired devices’ ports. Go to router’s settings and go to the website address mentioned on the user manual. Here you can tinker with the router’s basic settings like changing the network’s name and the network mode.

Go to the wireless security option and generate a password for the router. Keep this password safe with you, as every time you log in to the internet through your router, it will ask for this password. Save these settings and to make sure that someone else cannot access this settings page and mess around with your router’s settings, go to administrator settings and change the password from default to something unique to you.

Once your configuration is complete, unplug the router from the computer and connect to it wirelessly after providing the password. If you are able to connect without any hassles it means that your Wi-Fi network is ready to roll. Just connect the Ethernet cable from your modem to the router in the internet/WAN port, reset your router once and there you have it, your own home Wi-Fi network running.

You may have heard about PayNearMe, the makers of which have been in the news for the wrong reasons earlier this year. But putting the Kwedit controversies aside, this payment product looks like the real deal and has tied up with some real big shot merchants with its launch that happened today.

PayNearMe is the solution for you, if you do not own or perhaps do not want to use plastic money for purchases.
Antonia Miskic. That’s the the name of the young girl who was captured on video while committing a serious crime of throwing puppies into the river. And later the video was uploaded on YouTube.com! I am not sure if this video still exists on YouTube but this piece of news, undoubtedly, comes in as a shock to public and PETA.

Although the name remains unconfirmed (Antonia Miskic or Katja Puschnik), but from what I’ve recollected – Antonia Miskic picked up one puppy at a time and tossed them to their death into the river. A total of 6 alive puppies were put to play in this heinous act.

When the video went live on August 31st, it spread like a wildfire and many facebook pages were created to take action against this lady. At last, PETA decided to take the initiative after looking into the matter and have also announced to handsomely reward ($2000 in cash) to whoever that finds more information about this girl, who is supposedly residing in Croatia.

Now, she’s the internet’s most wanted girl who openly engaged in animal cruelty and the hunt to track her down is on. How far can this go? What if those puppies are alive?
