Manage Hard disk drive space with WinDirStat
I, or let’s say my PC, always goes through the problem of low hard disk space, and my hard disk drive frequently runs out of free space while downloading a movie. I know I could upgrade but I’m just biding my time — waiting to buy something big, powerful in some time to come.
Anyway, this low hard disk space left me with nothing but frustration and thus the hunt for a tool which could help me in managing my HD begun. And look what I found — a free tool that works exactly as advertised.
WinDirStat is a free-to-use application that lists the size and the percentage of disk space utilized by every folder, sub-folders and the files on my PC. This organized way of listing of things makes it easier for me to detect the files occupying larger amount of space. So what do I do next? Simple: delete or transfer these files.
This Windows-only app is compatible with Windows OS and supports 12+ languages.
In other words WinDirStat is a simple cleanup tool to manage hard disk drive space. And it’s definitely worth giving a shot, especially when we take the price into consideration — which is free!

It certainly looks fancy. I use the disk space analyzer that comes with Tuneup and Perfect Disk.
